DREAMFELLAS DROP EXCLUSIVE TRACK “GET LOOSE” WITH TENGY, KHALLY, & PRAVONTHELOOSE

Entertainment collective, Dreamfellas, debuts a new artistic collaboration under their “SoundClout” project, with the fresh release of “Get Loose.” The product of collaboration between creatives, this fresh track brings together homegrown rapper, TENGY, singer and songwriter, Khally, and emerging producer, PravOnTheLoose, as they team up to showcase an eclectic mix of dancehall and house music.

Dreamfellas is run by visionaries who are no strangers to the industry, with a solid common goal of elevating entertainment in Singapore. Initially starting off as a media publication, by bringing light to the music, dance and fashion industry, it soon evolved into a brand that incorporates the aforementioned art forms into digital and physical experiences, while providing deft artistic curation from their diverse team of creatives. Deeply experienced in artiste management, event programming, media publication and management of social media platforms, Dreamfellas has so far curated and executed numerous online and offline engagements with multiple renowned brands and music acts.

With “SoundClout,” Dreamfellas now embarks on its first specially curated audio super experience, swiftly shifting its focus to beneficial collaboration and innovation across several multidisciplinary art forms, overlapping music and dance artists. Collectively working with their homegrown talents of different backgrounds and disciplines, Dreamfellas hopes to be a platform that can continuously push the creative fold in their native Singapore.

New single, “Get Loose” marries sounds from dancehall and house music, creating an upbeat dance track likened to the smart influences of artistes like Burna Boy & Kaytranada. The immersive synergy of the beats coupled with the ever silky, very sensual yet energetic vocals of TENGY and Khally invite listeners on this euphoric escapade, as if they were “high up in the clouds.”

As this is the first ever audio project that Dreamfellas is putting out, they hope this electronic afro house-influenced energetic masterpiece, is one track that will get anybody moving on the dance floor. The entire process is spearheaded by Creative Director and Executive Producer, Sharham s/o Sridhar, who describes “Get Loose” as an upbeat dance track.

Having graced tracks of other music acts like YAO and AE$OP CA$H, fast emerging producer, PravOnTheLoose, takes the lead in the utterly superb production of this dance-worthy track by layering TENGY and Khally’s sensual vocals along the canvas of addictive beats, inviting listeners to escape to a “cloud-high” state.

TENGY, a rising star in Singapore’s Hip-hop and R&B scene, shared his excitement about the collaboration, noting that the connection between the music and dance communities has shaped his artistic journey. He speaks on the collaboration saying, “I feel like the dance scene, similar to the music scene, has a very strong and well bonded community with a hint of friendly competition, which is always healthy for a rapidly growing community that pushes us all forward.”

Khally, an R&B neo-soul singer-songwriter and DJ, reflecting on her busy year since performing at the Aliwal Urban Arts Festival says; “To me, it feels like being in a race but being comfortable running at your own pace.” Feeling so grateful to be able to work and assert herself on this project, she expresses how working on the track has allowed her to reflect on her own fast-growing musical journey and reconcile any feelings of uncertainty. With emphasis on the feeling this song provides, all involved parties hope that dancers out there can provide their own little spin on this track through their own movement.

The release of this special track sets Dreamfellas’ broader creative campaign in motion. Shedding a lot of light on their unparalleled roster of dance talents and some of the best local artistes the scene has to offer, this integrated campaign will culminate in immersive experiences of music and dance, both online and offline, showcasing hip hop culture and artistry in Singapore.
