Fison arrives with her breathtaking debut single, “Daughter Of A Good Man.”
Independent British-Italian act Fison (f-y-son) introduces herself with emotional clarity on her debut single, “Daughter of A Good Man.” Having grown up in Florence and now based in London, Fison’s music reflects a sense of duality between places, identities and emotional states.

Blending indie pop with soft rock and folk influences, Fison draws inspiration from artistes such as Big Thief, MJ Lenderman and Lizzy McAlpine, shaping a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. Co-written and produced with Jamie Biles, the track is a quietly devastating exploration of childhood perception and disillusionment.
First written in Fison’s windowless East London bedroom, and later brought to life in Biles’ countryside studio, “Daughter of A Good Man” wrestles with the stories we tell ourselves in order to cope and survive. The result is a sound that feels both timeless and immediate, grounded by raw instrumentation and softened by delicate, emotive vocals.

Beautifully crafted and truly heartwarming, the production is incredibly infectious with a solid rhythm and melody that will pull listeners into Fison’s world. The dreamy soundscape allows her vocals to shine through, offering real introspection and vulnerability all at once. “Daughter Of A Good Man” has a spellbinding nature to it—an almost irresistible allure that makes it equal parts, appealing and evocative.
With its deeply understated intensity and impressive storytelling, Fison’s debut single signals the arrival of a new and compelling voice in the UK indie music landscape.
