The Ivy & Lyncs team up for their thrilling new single, “Don’t Fall Asleep To This.”
The Ivy and Lyncs are joining forces for their captivating and fresh single, “Don’t Fall Asleep To This.” The new release marks an exciting and anticipated prelude to their upcoming North America tour, kicking off on March 25th in Albuquerque, and hitting well known cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and Nashville, before wrapping up in San Antonio on April 23rd.
The brand new collaboration between The Ivy’s Wyatt (vocals/guitar) and Shawn (synth/bass), and Lyncs (vocals/multi-instrumentalist) was born serendipitously during a writing trip in LA.
As a duo, The Ivy is the music brainchild of Tulsa-based musicians and producers, Wyatt Clem and Shawn Abhari, who first crossed paths at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Oklahoma City. Their instant creative spark easily ignited a journey of relentless experimentation and sonic boundary-pushing. Since that fateful meeting, Wyatt and Shawn have honed a sound that’s as fresh as it is addictive, blending sharp songwriting with innovative production.

Lyncs is the musical project of American artiste Jacqueline Hynes, who hails from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Her musical journey began at the age of five with the piano and the violin, eventually evolving into writing and producing her own music. Drawing deep inspiration from talented and established acts like Lorde, The 1975, and The Japanese House, Lyncs crafts super dreamy choruses, layered electronic elements, and infectious melodies. Her music delves into themes of relationships, nostalgia, and self-discovery, creating a consistent soundscape that resonates deeply with listeners.
“Don’t Fall Asleep To This” showcases the combined indie-pop brilliance of both acts, delivering a heartfelt ode to the challenges of long-distance relationships. With its blend of soothing melodies and a driving, pulsating beat, the track strikes a perfect balance—hypnotic in its intimacy yet bursting with energetic allure.
