Eva Snyder – turkeys

Eva Snyder reveals vulnerable fresh single, “turkeys.”

Nashville-based Eva Snyder is an indie singer and songwriter, who blends her coastal roots with the breeze of her pop-rooted melodies. Snyder’s hard-earned and gutsy storytelling explores inner discovery, gaslighters, and the dopamine of everyday romance.

In May 2024, Snyder released her debut album, “seventeen,” a deeply personal and powerful collection created entirely by women, chronicling her journey of healing from assault. The album struck a chord within the music community, highlighting the raw honesty and emotional depth of her songwriting, solidifying the singer’s place as a compelling voice in the indie scene. In March 2025, Snyder released “…who am i?” her introspective note-to-self, signaling the end of the seventeen era.

Snyder, now returns with her most vulnerable project yet; the release of her sophomore album, “let the record show, I fell apart.” This collection of songs spans grief, growth, disappointment, and joy, layered with delicate harmonies, and the warmth of acoustic guitars, and violins gently weaving throughout the melodies. On the album, Snyder steps into her own, walking away with a deeper trust in herself, the art she’s creating, and the artiste she is becoming.

On the project, the track “turkeys” has slowly turned into a fan favorite, shining a light on Snyder’s gut-wrenching lyricism. With “turkeys” she expresses the freedom of letting go of others’ expectations and living for yourself through a witty and lighthearted motivational saying. It also sheds a light on perseverance despite exhaustion, relief through hope, and how ambition and heart fuel it all when there’s nothing left in the tank. This song honors the blood, sweat, and tears that have brought Snyder to this point – the falling apart and finding strength again. It’s the soundtrack to someone pushing through the final stretch, and seeing the light break through the darkness at dawn.

Listen to the track, “turkeys” and Snyder’s latest body of work, “let the record show, I fell apart,” out now on music streaming platforms.
