“Hold My Girl” is a sweetly sentimental ballad from George Ezra
George Ezra is an artiste known for his deep bass-baritone singing voice and he uses it to great effect on the melodious piece, “Hold My Girl,” taken from his second full-length studio album titled “Staying at Tamara’s.”
It’s a song that carries so much emotion as he sings the line “give me a minute to hold my girl” insinuating that someone or something is trying to tear them apart. The lyrics find George Ezra pondering about “his girl” and the numerous adventures they plan to undertake together. The track is a heart-wrenching tune that will probably bring tears to your eyes but only because he delivers it so exquisitely.
