Hayley Kiyoko moves into the dream-pop realm with “Given It All”

You’ll probably have heard of Hayley Kiyoko, if you watched the Disney movie “Lemonade Mouth.” Well, she seems to have left that scene and she’s coming up with some incredible tunes of her own as can be heard on this upbeat musical number.

Hayley Kiyoko’s “Given It All” is layered with electronic synths and merged with some poppy beats. The track is lifted up by the chorus and ends up becoming a danceable dream-pop melody. It focuses on Hayley giving everything for a relationship to work, only to have this feeling not reciprocated. Hayley Kiyoko dabbles in a variety of genres, obviously still trying to find her sound. But she seems to have nailed down one aspect of her musical style with “Given It All.”
